Since its opening in 1968, Foxfire has enjoyed a reputation as one of the premiere golfing destinations in the Sandhills area of North Carolina and throughout the southeast. Over the years, countless numbers of passionate golfers, including many famous names, have graced our fairways. Located in an area formerly invovled with the sport of fox hunting, Foxfire offers thirty-six holes of traditional golf designed by renowned golf architect, Gene Hamm. Whether it is the history, the challenge, or the tradition, Foxfire is sure to provide a unique and classic golf experience for anyone who plays here.

Offering two traditional layouts, each with its own unique character, Foxfire reflects the identity of the Village of Pinehurst area. The two courses, Foxfire East Course and Foxfire West Course, are set under the Carolina sky, meandering through the tall pines and over the rolling terrain of the Sandhills. The Bermuda tees and fairways, as well as the bentgrass greens, are exceptionally maintained year round.
